世界で最も熟成期間の長い赤ワインの1つ。優良年にのみ造られるベガ・シシリアのフラッグシップ！ベガ・シシリアの歴史は長く、古くは16世紀の文献に農園として名前が登場しています。1864年エロイ・レカンダが「ボデガス ベガ・シシリア」を創業。エロイはボルドーでワイン造りを学び、フランスからカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン等の国際品種をこの地に持ち込み、ワイナリーの発展に貢献しました。土着のティント・フィノに国際品種をブレンドしたワインは1929年のバルセロナ万博で金賞を受賞し、一躍世界の舞台にその名を轟かせました。1982年にDOリベラ・デル・ドゥエロが誕生。同時期にアルバレス家がオーナーとなり、「テンポス・ベガ・シシリア」グループが誕生します。それ以来今日に至るまで、「スペインの至宝」と例えられるほどの高い品質が認められるベガ シシリアを中心に、新たなワイナリーも加わり、スペイン屈指のワイナリーグループとして発展しています。「ウニコ」は、最低でも10年の熟成を経てからリリースされる「唯一」の名前にふさわしい逸品。収量は約22.5hl/ha。自家製アメリカンオーク樽やフレンチオーク樽、ステンレスタンクでの熟成を経て出荷。色合いはブラックベリーなどが強烈に濃縮したもので、果実やドライフラワー、ナツメグやリコリスなどのスパイス、バルサミコ酢などのアロマが複雑に溶け合う甘味が舌先に感じられます。繊細な酸と細やかで洗練されたタンニンがあり、いつまでも続く長い余韻は、スペインワインの王と呼ぶに相応しい風格と威厳を備えています。まさに「スペインのラトゥール」と称される国宝級のワインです。VEGA SICILIA UNICOベガ・シシリア ウニコ生産地：スペイン カスティーリャ・イ・レオン州原産地呼称：DO.
